Body Odor and HRT?

Hi all! It's been a while since I've needed to venture into the jungle - and I hope all are doing well.

I'm not even sure this is a hormone issue - but I'm starting here. (I tried doing search and didn't find anything related - I also looked for the Too much/Too little estrogen page and couldn't find it - has it been deleted?)

Anyway - is there any connection between HRT (too much/too little) and body odor? I've noticed a problem lately - tried several deoderant/anti perspirants and still have the problem. This started about a week or so ago.

I've been on .075 Vivelle Dot since last August and feel great otherwise. Like I said, this probably isn't a hormone issue, but thought I'd check and see if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks sisters!

Body Odor and HRT?

Thanks Cynthia - those are they same threads I came up with. They all seem to refer to vaginal discharge, or odors related to the surgery - not body odor.

Believe me - I DO!!! shower and like I said I've tried switching deoderants. I'm just taking a wild guess to see if it could be hormonal.

Thanks!

Body Odor and HRT?

Hi Mary Sue! Your question rang a bell somewhere in the dim recesses of my memory... and I dug up these old threads about the problem of body odor and hormones:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...threadid=78994

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...threadid=66416

Also, the too much/too little article is still around, things just got reorganized so they'd be ultimately easier to find. Here's a link to the page of all the Hormone Jungle articles:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/hsl...s=&forumid=174

I hope this helps. Glad to hear you're doing so well!
s,
-Linda

Linda,

Thanks for the links - looks like some good suggestions. If nothing else - it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this (and isn't that a lot of what's so wonderful about the site!?)

Cynthia - don't worry about it. I appreciate you responding!
