4th surgery

I found you all in 2001 when I was getting ready for my tah. Everything went great!! for a while. I really appreciated the information that I got. So now I am back. I am scheduled for my fourth surgery on July 30. They will be removing my remaining ovary. I have changed doctors and he has had a fit that the original doctor did not remove it to begin with since I had such bad endo (my uterus was fused to my rectum). I can tell it has come back, and I am also having cysts rupture. I had horrible pain one night and the next day they did an ultra sound and could see the pocket of fluid where the cyst had reptured.
My original doctor wanted to leave the ovary because to the hormone thing (which makes the endo grow back). But this doctor says that he can remove the ovary and I can take a really low dose of hormone and have the best of both worlds, no hot flashes and no endo. Does anyone know about this?? I am having it done no matter what, but I was wondering.
