Questions

I know these questions/ concerns seem trivial compared to what some of you are dealing with. I am thankful that I've had improvement in my health in the last 3 months. But there are still a few things that are bothering me at 9 mos. post. I figure the best place to ask questions is here.....and am hoping that maybe someone can give me a little advice, so here goes.........

Does the ever go away????? Maybe mine has something to do with FMS, but I can't concentrate for anything!! It is downright embarrassing at this point! And it seems to get worse during PMS time. I stopped taking bc pills 2 months ago and started taking a B-Complex and Calcium supplement. My moods have improved drastically, however, the hasn't. Last month I didn't even have the munchies or cramps and thought I had found the reason for my continued problems. Now this month they are back with a vengence. I just don't know what to do!

Questions

Hi there Don't appologize: no problem is too trivial too mention

I also kept my ovaries and find that the tends to hit really bad around the time I'm ovulating/would be having my periods. Other things that are also new since my hyst, at that time of the month: I also get lots and lots of hot flashes and night sweats and will get awful dizzy spells, like I'm on an elevator that jerks up and down, even when standing still.

I've mentionned it to my GYN and had my hormone and thyroid levels tested, and there's been no explanation. However, on the bright side: it's been almost 3 years since my hyst (December 2000) and these symptoms have been decreasing in the past year or so. They've been decreasing in two ways: they no longer happen every month and, when they do happen, they're not as intense. So, I guess, there's still hope that they will, eventually, go away.

Questions

Hi there,
I think we have posted back and forth to each other before as you were one of the few people on the site that had kept an ovary and was taking birth control for hrt. Sorry to hear that you are still having problems though...but I do have a question for you....why did you stop the birth control pills? I am better on them mood-wise (no longer have day long crying jags) but the idea of being on these things continuously for a long time--my doctor has as much as said he wants me on them for 10 years as he worries about endo--really bothers me. So if it's not too personal, can you tell me what made you decide to go off them and what your doctor says? Thanks!
