Any one else with PCOS? And my story...

Here is a little bit of my story, I as born 6/14/ 1959 which makes me 44 now, and I started AF at age of 11 had regular periods till I was 19, they were heavy and came every month at the same time but painful, at the age of 19 gained 60lbs in one month, went to a ob/gyn whom told me that "Nothing was wrong with me", from the age of 19 till I was 32, I had many test run and was always told "Nothing is wrong with me", in this time some times I would go months on end with no period and some times would flow months on end, the longest time frame I went with out one was 7 years, and yet nothing was wrong with me, at the age of 32 on April 24, 1992, I had my right ovary taken and the tube due to having 5 cysts on my ovary, one of which was very huge, and was DX with PCOS, but was never ever treated for it, and in 1992 ended up becoming pg and loosing the child, I went from age of 32 to 36 having problems again, and many test ran again, and was always told the same thing "Nothing is wrong with you", then in January of 1995 I began to flow very hard and alot of pain, I went like this till October and ended up going to the ER room and my ob/gyn happend to be in the hospital and we talked him into giving me a complete hysterectomy, due to insurance purposes we had a biopsy ran, and all this showed was estrogen withdrawal, and he scheduled the operation for November 8, 1995, and the results of this was , I had endo, adhensions for the past operation, my ovary was full of cyst, and my uterus was falling apart, due to a hormone called oxytocin that made my uterus believe that it was in labor all the time, and still after this my Dr's never treated me, and a few months after my operation I was being DX with being a diabetic, and in Feb of 2001 was DX with having high blood pressure and arthritis, and from 2001 I was finally put on insulin shots because my blood sugar was uncontrolable, and this year the Dr I was seeing was lecturing me on my weight, and I told him that you know i'm PCOS and he asked me what that was so I had to explain to him what it was, and his comment was "Well the ovaries are gone, the PCOS is gone", that is when I decided to go a diabetic specialist, and am so glad that I went, this new Dr changed my insulin to the proper insulin for my condition, did alot of blood work and it came back with a DX of Metabolic Syndrome. Since going to this DR, and having my insulin and actos dose changed I am feeling so much better.
