Hi Ladies :wave

Well ladies I am now at 1 yr and 2 months since my TAH/BSO in May of 2002. I feel wonderful, but I still have hot flashes. More than I can take at some times. I usually get them when I am sleeping at night.
Is is normal to gain weight after surgery? Like 17 lbs? And how do you get all the weight off ? I do walk alot but still I feel very fat.
And my lower tummy is still with me. How do I get rid of it too. I have tryed everything to get rid of it. (tummy buldge)
Hope to hear from some of you take care sally.

Hi Ladies :wave

Hi Sally, The best way I know of losing weight & keeping it off is weight training hand in hand with areobics. Nothing is more effective on the tummy then crunches. If you have excess skin as I did only a TT with remove that. I had solid muscle under extra saggy skin due to losing 89 lbs. 5 years ago & now I finally have a flat tummy! Peg
