What causes swell belly and whats happening to my scar??

Hi ((((Kath)))) Sorry your scar has been playing tricks on you Can't offer much insight where that is concerned, since I had a TVH... Hopefully, there will be someone around real soon to some on the issue.

Regarding the Swelly Belly, the main cause for it is healing, much like a knee will swell after an injury. That's why our bellies will swell when we over do it.

Since you apparently haven't done anything to prompt this sudden surge of swelling (though, it's important to remember that it might take a day or two for the results to show), it could very well be because the last of the internal stitches are (finally) healing.

However, should the strangeness with the scar and swelling persist, especially if it's accompanied by signs of infection or by pain, do not hesitate to consult your doctor: better be safe than sorry.

Sending tons of s your way. Please keep us posted.
