I'm so discouraged.

Hi ladies. At almost seven months post-op, I'm feeling very discouraged. I started taking Estratest (in addition to Estradiol) in May to help with a lack of libido. After six weeks or so I started to notice an improvement. However, that was short lived and once again my sex drive is missing in action. (Not only that, but I feel that sex is nowhere near as good as it was pre-hyst. Anyone else feel this way?) I can't tolerate anymore Estratest than the one full strength tablet I take every other day. Should I try changing my hormones? Supplementing what I'm taking with maca or Avlimil? Should I try a different delivery method? Any advice is appreciated........

You might ask about getting some compounded testosterone in a gel or cream. I just started on it 5 days ago and I have already noticed a difference for the good. My prescription calls for me to use it 7 days straight and then every 1-3 days as needed thereafter. My prescription is a combination of estriol and .25mg of testosterone.

Have you had your hormone levels checked? Just by what I have learned it might be a good idea to try a different delivery method. Hopefully someone will come along with some more ideas. Hope you will find something that will make you feel better soon. Hang in there. Nature
