Best Movie I have Ever Seen

Hello everyone,
This is in response to the best movie ,
I am a HUGE fan of Turner Classic Movies Channel- it is far
and away the best movie channel on T.V. My ABSOLUTE FAVE
MOVIE OF ALL TIME has got be "Random Harvest"-it is an OLD
Black & White movie from the 1940's. It stars Ronald Colman
and Greer Garson. If you ever can catch it , I can guantee that
you will LOVE it! I watch it everytime I am fortunate enough to
find it playing. Out of the newer movies, I am partial to "Con Air"
with Nicolas Cage. I dont really like most of the movies that come
out these days.

What are the Best Movies You've Ever Seen- Why?

Well, I'm not sure I can think of ten - I'm a tough movie critic!! I'm sure some of my choices are questionable!!

It's a Wonderful Life

Bull Durham (love Kevin Costner, love baseball - this is my feel good movie!!)

The Shawshank Redemption

Tombstone (love Val Kilmer in this - he is priceless)

The Shadowlands (not very well known movie where Anthony Hopkins plays T. S. Elliot - I could be wrong on that, it seems wrong, haven't seen it in a long time- yes, I was wrong, it's C. S. Lewis that he plays)

Saving Private Ryan (I make it through the whole movie until the very end where he says to his wife "Tell me I'm a good man, tell me I've had a good life" It breaks me to peices - reminds me of my Grandpa who fought in WWII, and turned 80 last November.)

The Ghost and the Darkness

A Beautiful Mind

...am I there yet? Well, I don't think I can think of anymore off hand!!

What are the best movies you've ever seen- why?

Here goes:

The Passion of the Christ -- Needs no explanation

Gone With The Wind -- Clark Gable

The Scorpion King -- The Rock, long hair and shirtless

McClintock -- Love John Wayne and nearly all his movies

Arsenic and Old Lace -- Cary Grant, his looney aunts and Theodore Roosevelt

The Princess Bride -- "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

Independence Day -- Jeff Goldblum "Must go faster."

A Knight's Tale --- Swords and "Taking Care of Business"

Commando -- "You said you'd kill me last." "I lied."

True Lies -- Arnold Schwarzenegger as jealous husband

The Philadelphia Story--Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart

Bringing Up Baby-- Cary Grant, "I don't know. I just woke up and went gay all of a sudden!"

The Two Towers-- Viggo Mortenson all hot and sweaty and dripping wet

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof-- Paul Newman Yum!

The Long Hot Summer -- More Paul Newman!

I know I listed way too many, but the more I thought, the more I thought of, and there are still more, but I thought I'd better quit!

Ramona --

Grant was bisexual -- he enjoyed getting in little cracks that went past the censors. "Gay" was a pretty secret code back then, as was wearing purple.

You know the movie he did about the guy who's wife comes back from the desert island? The guy that she was shipwrecked with was his lover at the time! A big joke by all who understood it!
