Hernia or what could this be??????

I am 10 months post-op and have this strange swelling/pain in my lower right abdomen. I have had this tenderness since my surgery in October, but it seems to be more sore now. The tenderness/swelling begins at the end of my incision and goes up vertically to the side. I know this seems strange, but it seems to get more tender after I eat. It is not gas, it is more like a slight internal twisting and skin surface pain. Is this what a hernia feels like? I had extensive endo and strictures removed from both intestines during my surgery and am hoping that this is not adhesions I still get a slight case of the swelly belly but this is not that. I will mention this to my DR when I go the first part of September, but was hoping to hear from some sisters who have experienced similiar symptoms.

Thank you,

Leslie

Hernia or what could this be??????

((((Leslie)))) I'm so sorry you're having to deal with these issues, this late in your recovery

Never having delt with either a hernia or a swelling of this kind, I do not know if that's what a hernia would be like. Hopefully, someone will come along with some insight real soon.

However, I did want to send some s and your way and to mention that, considering this has gone on ever since your surgery and that there is pain involved, I would contact your contact before your scheduled appointment, in order to have this issue addressed.

Sending s your way and wishing you the best of luck. Please let us know how you're doing.
