2 Part Question

I had a TVH and am 2 1/2 weeks post op.
How long did your doctor tell you not to house clean?
How much does a "normal"uterus weigh?

Mine said not to do ANYTHING for 2 weeks. I am not even allowed to hold my cat!

You should wait at least 4 to 6 weeks before attempting any house cleaning. Your body has been through a lot and needs time to heal. Here's a link of do's and don'ts: Do’s and Don’ts

Regarding size, and quoting from a book called "Fibroids: The Complete Guide to Taking Charge of Your Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Well-Being' by Johanna Skilling: "The average uterus is 2 to 4 inches long, 1.5 to 2.5 inches wide and 1 inch thick; it weighs about one-sixth of a pound or 50 grams ... If you've ever been pregnant, your uterus may be on the larger end of those dimensions.

Here's a list that might be of some help! Allowed Not Allowed , but make sure you follow your dr.'s orders.
