Help with the calendar for the week of Sept 22

(((Ladies)))

Well, as you can see, our server crashed again over the weekend! Unfortunately, that means most of our calendar was erased. I was able to find a couple of appointments by going through my old emails, but I had deleted most of them once I posted to the calendar. Send me you appointment dates!!!!

The only appointment I have for this week is:

MONDAY

Withope has a colonoscopy. Debbie! Good luck! I hope your procedure goes smoothly and that you get a clean bill of health!

I will be having an abdominal CT scan on Wednesday to check on those possible enlarged lymph nodes/no-longer-needed blood vessels.

Good luck, Withhope...hope your colonoscopy is uneventful and brings only good news.

Good luck Linda and Debbie, with your tests.

I will be having a cystoscospy on tuesday this week. I do hope that I will be able to get out of this foley. It is driving me nuts, but I am living with it, well it is tolerable. If nothing else it will find out where the leak is and maybe be able to fix it.

Help with the calendar for the week of Sept 22

I leave for the castle in about 45 minutes to have a TAH BSO and Burch procedure. I missed HysterSisters the past few days. I am praying that my complex hyperplasia with atypia turns out to be only that and not something more advanced.

Have things pretty well set up for arrival home in a few days.

My appointment(s)

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE WHO HAS AN APPOINTMENT THIS WEEK! I'm wishing you the best--good news, good recovery.
I have an appointment today for chemo. Last Friday was a terrible bust. First, the white cells that were so good at two weeks, crashed but badly. I had 1.3 white cells and 700 neutrophils. No go. I got a shot of Neupogen Friday instead and then I had to go outpatient to the hospital Sat. and Sunday for two more. We will try again today to see where counts are. The shots are not pleasant and I'm having problems with them--and scared of Neulasta which may be coming. It's one shot a day or so after chemo--when I'm the sickest and will have to drive in myself. BUT--the really bad news was that the tumor marker has gone up from 40 to 62 so the chemo may not be working. If not, next choice could be an oral one--but I go Medicare in January from SSDI and Medicare doesn't pay for oral chemo--and it's $908 a month mimimum plus anti nausea. Needless to say, vrey discouraged here.

's to all of you! I feel bad that I wasn't able to do a formal calendar this week.

(((Linda))) Good luck with your CT on Wednesday. I hope all is deemed to be OK.

(((Debbie))) I hope your surgeon can give you some insight into your ongoing pain and that it's something easily fixable!

(((Jane))) I hope your cystoscopy goes well. I'm sure you are more than ready to be rid of that catheter!!

(((Paula))) I'm sure I've missed you by now, but I hope you have a successful surgery and easy recovery.

(((Ellen))) I'm sorry you are having so many problems. Hang in there! You are one of the toughest women I know, and I'm just certain you will overcome these obstacles.

I'm keeping you all in my 'ers this week. Please come back and let us know how things go!
