Does Everyone Spot?

I am 6 weeks post op today from a TVH, you would never know it. I thank the Lord constantly, I have so much new found energy, no pain, occasionally I over do it a little and need a few hours to recharge my batteries but everything went extremely well.

So far, I had a dot of red blood followed by a tiny bit brown discharge twice, once during week 2 and once in week 3. Since then, nothing. Dr did note during my 3 1/2 week check up I was still full of sutures. Has anyone else had so little post op discharge, I see the Dr again next week. My best to all, glad the board is back up.

Does Everyone Spot?

Hey to you adrift!!

I am about 10 days ahead of you, and have a similar story.

At my 6 week check my Dr saw a remaining stitch, and some granulation tissue. After her pelvic exam, I had a dot of blood, and then some brownish discharge. I have just had an episode of diarrhea, and once again, I got a little vaginal discharge with it. I think the granulation tissue in the vaginal cuff is bleeding. If it doesn't stop by 8 weeks, I will have it cauterized with silver nitrate, as it is delaying my intimate activities!!!
