Surgery Again....

Hello ladies,

I have lurked here for a very long time and found you all to be an invaluable source of information and support. I had a SAH exactly one year ago (fibroids and adenomyosis) which left my ovaries and cervix intact. At my annual gyn exam, my Dr. found a pelvic mass. He sent me for an ultrasound which proved somewhat inconclusive. It showed a 10cm solid mass but could not pinpoint it's origin, although ovarian origin was suspected. On top of that, I had an abnormal PAP but he didn't think that they were related. Anyway, I had an MRI yesterday and do not return to my Dr. until 10/6 (vacation).

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? He's already told me that it has to come out and I can handle that. I keep asking him what it could be and I know he can't tell me based on what we know right now but I can't help but think the worst.
