Prayers for a fellow Cancer survivor

I just found out last week that my dh's ex-wife has cervical cancer. I have been praying for her and am asking for my fellow CCers to send up Prayers for her as well. From what I understand it is pretty extensive. From what I have been told she would be a Stage III or worse.

Lucklily, we are not like most ex's and current wives, as we get along. I have told her that I will help her as much as I can. She will be going thru cisplatin and radiation like I did, and I have told her, thru son and daughter, that it is very doable, along with the pros and cons of the treatments.

So if you would add her to your prayer lists (her name is Linda).

And continue to pray for me as my fistula still has not healed, but I am sure it will if it is in God's plan.

Adding to Prayer List

How wonderful that you get along well. We can hope that once surgery is done it will not be so bad as they think now.

Now That's a Nice Person!

WOW, Jane, I'd say that requesting prayers for the ex-wife definitely entitles you to a few extra points with God!! And you've really got a big heart to be providing her with so much support despite your own serious post-surgical problems.

My prayers will be promptly offered for a full and speedy recovery for both of you!!

Take care.

How fortunate for Linda that she has a friend such as you. Of course, I'll include her in my prayers and ask God to give her the strength she'll need for the road ahead.
