Hey Jude,

I, too, have been MIA for a while. Sounds oh too familiar to just not want to talk about it. I think mine has been denial and not wanting to see the face of just one more not too mention having any more questions thrown at me. My life too, has been hectic on top of all it. Just wanted to post and throw my s in with the bunch

My I add my s to the collection?

I can so relate about not wanting to see any more doctors; I counted the other day, and if I really saw everyone my internist wants me to see, I'd be up to 9 specialists ! Let's see: internal med; pulmonary (long-term lung scarring from asthma); cardiology (arrhythmia); allergy/immunology (new allergy to fish, which is the mainstay of my diet); neurosurgery (my herniated discs in the neck); GYN (for obvious reasons...my endo is back too); gastroenterology (for hiatal hernia that makes it difficult for me to breathe or eat); rheumatology (for the newly diagnosed osteoporosis and undefined auto-immune stuff -- sound familiar to anyone ?). Since each co-pay is $20, and they don't always accept the insurance as total payment, it's getting expensive around here too!

Right now, all my doctoring plans are on hold, though, as my 8 yo DD (and fellow Road dweller, as many of you know) is undergoing her workup for -- Ta-da -- adhesions and GI motility problems. Poor kid, she doesn't have a large intestine...and stuff just keeps slowing down in her system, which is adding to her pain.

But we're tough...and I know that I make it with from all of you...

Judy, I've wondered how you're doing. You're in my thoughts and ers! It's good to hear from you (and Lenee!)

(((Jude)))) So sorry for the late reply to this thread: I haven't been around as much as I usually am lately, due to a change in jobs (great news... but hard work). I'm soooo sorry that you've been having such a hard time, mon amie

I'm relieved that the flexible sigmoidoscopy turned out to be less traumatic than you'd anticipated, however, it is a bummer that you're back to trying to figure out what is causing your pain.

I'm hoping that with the milder, and dryer, weather we've been having this week that you feel a little better. It might be a good idea to have that injured foot looked at, as there might be something other than the FMS going on... you can never be too careful.

Sending lots of healing s your way. You know that the is always on for you here.

I am so happy all of your fears were not true about your test! I have had lower back injections and I felt the same way before them and it turned out to be somewhat not so bad at all!!

I am also glad that at least you know what it's NOT and now can focus on what it IS! I also have the same before adhesion removal cramping and am just holding off as long as I can since I just had them removed in May and just had my repair surgery 2 months ago. I am done with surgery for a while!! I was also offered the patch for my herniated discs in my back but I could never get anything to stick to my hairy body so I turned it down and am on morphine instead. I might just look back into the patch since I now know that there is another adhesive patch to help keep it on!!

Please keep us informed on the next step and I will keep praying for you dear sister!!

HUGS!
