Quiet Husband II

Hey ladies,
just wanted to let you know I finally broke down and cried last night and My DH heard me. He ?ed why I was crying and I told him how afraid I was with my upcoming surgery and that I felt like I was losing control of everything. You know he wrapped his arms around me and held me tight and told me Everything would be alright and that nothing was going to happen to me.... Also when I woke up this morning my step daughter placed a letter in my purse telling me "she would be there for me should I need her. Needless to say I cried all the way to work this morning. Feels like lots support is out there for me, I just need to see it :::0).

Hi Judith, glad your hubby is coming around. I didn't have that problem with my DH so didn't reply to your previous post concerning that. I did mean to reply about your thyroid problem and reading through the responses to those posts notice that no one mentioned that.

Please, please go to thyroid.about.com and read up on thyroid. Having a nodule definitely means something and just because the blood test was normal doesn't really mean anything. You need to be informed of all the symptoms of thyroid so you can be aware if the nodule is starting to cause problems. It will be real easy after surgery to assume any symptoms you have are due to the hsyster and it might actually be your thyroid. Unfortunately, many, many doctors are not up on the latest info on how to treat thyroid.

That thyroid site has an excellent forum area just like here where many women with thyroid disease can answer any question you might have.

Hope you find some answers and that all goes well with your hyster.
