Trick or Treating should be put on the NOT allowed list!

Hi Sisters!
Happy Halloween! I have been reading posts and getting up and down answering the doorbell every few minutes for the last hour! them lil witches, ghosts, vampires and ghouls are gonna be the end of me! Got big ouchy pain in right side, called the DH for assistance, he took the basket of candy and went out to sit on the porch! Now why didn't I think of that? must be the Might grab a blanket and go join him after a pain pill and a lil nap!

LOL not the drugs, our town is nuts.....I can only remember one time that trick or treating was actually on october 31st. I think whoever sets the date must have a party of their own to attend on the real halloween night!

Trick or Treating should be put on the NOT allowed list!

Thats ESPECIALLY ODD since Halloween actually falls on a FRIDAY this year!!!!

I could understand changing it for kids so they dont have to go out on a school night and worry about being home early. But to move it to a SCHOOLNIGHT is BIZARRE!!!!

Poor kiddos. Ripped off. Id hate to see what happens at XMAS. Sounds like a SCROOGE!!!!

Trick or Treating should be put on the NOT allowed list!

we have trick or treat tomorrow from 6-8 here, they do that whenever halloween falls on a friday or a saturday to keep the kids safer, because statistics say that there are more than double the amount of drunk drivers on those nights for halloween and more children get hit by drunk drivers then. It is a safety precaution for the children.

Hope that explains it. i know my husband thought this state was retarded or something when we moved here..lol

We also have trick or treat on the night before Halloween. It is never actually on Halloween night.
