RE: Vacuuming

Hi, I am a little over 4 months post op and it hurts to vacuum still. Every time I do it I am in pain. I just went for a check up today and my Dr. said I was completely healed inside but it still hurts me when I over do it. Good Luck!

RE: Vacuuming

Hi bostonbabe

My DR told me that it would be 6 to 9 months before I am completely healed inside ...

Just because you look healed on the outside does not mean you are healed inside .. and everybody heals at different rates (the older you are, the longer it can sometimes be (sorry to depress you!)).

If you are still really concerned about this pain, especially when you are vacuming ... go and see your family doctor ...

ME ... I'd use it as a perfect excuse to get DH to do the housework (just wondering how long it will last!)

Hope you get some answers soon

RE: Vacuuming

Hi, I haven't tried it yet but I know I can't because I can't lift anything heavy without hurting.I am 35 and 4 months post. I just this week started to not be sore all the time from just being on my feet.I never thought it would happen!I'm not going to risk it for a while by doing heavy work.I do the tredmill, but lifting is out.
