Question/Suggestion ??

Hello Ladies

Just wondering if any of you could help...a friend at work emailed me to tell me that she had a Leep done yesterday. The procedure was very painfull , they found a large spot on the cervix. She has to wait 2 weeks for the results. Naturally she is freaking out as she knows what I went through. ( my leep was so painfull I though I would die...what I later found out was it should have been done in the hospital and the pain was due to cutting into my tumor. )
Anyway..any ideas what this might be ??

Thanks all !!
God Bless

Question/Suggestion ??

From what I've read, a LEEP is not typically painful for a woman, but some do have pain with them. I had mine under general because I was having some other procedures done along with the LEEP, and my gyn said it was a good idea it turned out that way because there were some areas of tough tissue from scarring from previous procedures (he had not anticipated the extensive scarring), and he said it would have been very painful for me had I been awake.

I hope your friend's results come back OK. That 2 week wait always seems to take forever. I'll be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers.
