cysts....

Hi girls, it has been a while for me, but I'm back again with more questions. I am now 26 had a TVH when I was 23. I kept both ovaries because my Dr. said I should, being so young. Well now I get what I think he called them "resloving cysts".
I'm not quite sure what they are called but I do know they are very painful. I can actually feel them on my left ovary. I have told my PCP but she is not concerned. About 2 1/2 weeks ago I had pain so bad that I couldn't stand straight, and felt intense pressure, and was nearly in tears at work, I think one may have burst. If she is not worried should I not be?
When I told her about all the pain she just said to take tylenol, and gave me some samples of cramping meds. I just had my last 6 mo. pap in june and everything came back fine....should I be concerned and get a second opinion? Any info on this would be very ful.

cysts....

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing more pain Unfortunately, Ovarian cysts are somewhat common when the Ovaries are left Post-Hyst. For some, they can be quite painful depending on their size/type. Have you tried taking BCP's? They can help reduce the cysts from forming *** together....I've seen many use this treatment w/ good success. Maybe somethig you could discuss w/ your Dr Here is a link to some excellent info on Ovarian Cysts; causes, symptoms treatments...hopefully it will provide you w/ some further insight as to your Drs plan:
