Adhesions?

Anyone else dealing with adhesions? I'm just learning about them since my GI doctor thinks that's what is causing my intermitten pain.

I didn't have this pain before my hyster...and I'm afraid of living with it forever. It gets severe enough at times that I have to take vicodin, and that's not a long-term option for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was wondering what experiences other people have had with adhesions.

Thank you.

((( Rita ))))

I am so sorry to hear they suspect adhesions. So many of us here on the Road have been dealing with this issue. There are no cut and dry answers I am sorry to say. You need to do alot of research on this... There is lots of good information in the resources section . https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/for...s=&forumid=159

You can also get information on adhesions at bombobeach.com or adhesions.de . Also another site is adhesions.org .

I am 2 1/2 post op from my second surgery this year to remove adhesions that developed post op. The key to this problem is to research, work with a good doctor, and know and understand your options completely.

I consider myself and my treatment plan to be a work in process....

Luck to you and 's
