Endo/Adhesions after Hysterectomy-Post Op 1yr

Monti,

I am sorry you are going through so much dear I am another Endo Sister who has had GI trouble. The docs blame mine on IBS! I have had many GI tests done and everything was fine.

I'm interested in this whole allergy thing. While I'm not aware of any allergies I may have to food, I do experience allergic reactions to some medications. I do know that certian foods make my ab pain worse - but it is in a different way from the Endo pain...It is more like a sick stomach, which is the IBS - I guess.

I had a lap done approx 8 months after my hyst and more Endo was found. I have it on my bladder and other places. The docs don't want to operate because I have nerve damage...But I don't know what to do. I have not taken any HRT for approx 1 1/2 years. I did see a slight reduction in pain...very slight. Sometimes I wonder if I have a microscopic piece of ovary - that they left behind - Or there is the theory that Endo can produce it's own estrogen

I do believe very strongly that all of this - Endo/Allergies & many more medical 'conditions/illnesses' are all linked to our Immune System. I joke when I'm visiting family members, and one of them is sick - And sure enough I get whatever they had, but much worse. But - Hey! I can't live in a plastic bubble until the medical community figures this all out!

Take Care Dear Sister, and let us know how you make out with the Doc.

Sending you many S
