To Gracie and Tammy
I had a thin, watery, discharge for 4 months. It was worse at night, and just as you described, it would run down my leg. Since my pap smears were always negative, and I had one just 5 months before, no one suspected cancer. First they suspected an infection and later the doctors all believe it was a fibroid in my cervix. It wasn't until well into the 4th month of the discharge that I had some blood, usually when I had a bowel movement. I also began to have very low back pain. But there was never any odor to the blood or discharge. After months of tests and sonograms my doctor insisted that I see an gyn/oncologist 'just in case'. He knew immediately that I had cervical cancer, on the back side of my cervix, up against my vagina and rectum. That's why the tumor bled with bowel movements. After a few weeks of radiation treatment and chemo, I had no more bleeding or discharge.
I hope this helps.
