Ovarian Cancer Awareness Stamp

The ovarian cancer awareness stamp was not approved this fall.
However, the effort is now underway again for September 2004. The goal is 40,000 signatures this time around.
Please click on the following link and sign up.
Also consider sending it to your entire address book.
As we all know, awareness is half of the battle.
Thanks.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness Stamp

Dear Karen,
I signed the petition for the stamp, and I am disappointed that
it will not happen this year. The teal ribbon needs to be recognized and given the attention it and ovarian cancer deserves. December's issue of "Health" magazine contains two
major articles on ovarian cancer, more than just paragraphs, and
I am hoping that other magazines follow suit. Like some of the
other Hyster Sisters, I write the magazines to urge them to publish more articles on ovarian cancer awareness and to praise
them when they do run articles. Hopefully, with more public
attention, the stamp for ovarian cancer awareness will become a
reality, and more will be done for early detection and better treatment. Thanks for your work toward bringing more awareness about the stamp and ovarian cancer!

Women who wear teal are women of steel!

Signed & sent!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

How about writing a similar post over in the Friends Without Faces forum? There's a good amount of traffic there & I just know all our sisters will want to help!

Thanks again.
