Down with flu, anyone else? Need your support

Hi again. It may sound like I'm, whining, but ouch, I have this dreadful flu that is hanging on. When I cough my stomach burns with pain and of course my back problem hurts at the same time. You probably get the picture. I want so much to have a great Christmas season, is anyone else out there battling to get rid of a cold/flu. Feels like I have bronchial pneumonia or just a completely horrible virus. Much love to all,

I am sorry that you have gotten the flu bug. Have you called the doc? May be worthwhile to get checked out and make sure it is just the flu and not something more serious that may require some antibotics.

I hope you feel better soon.

Oh, I hope you are feeling better soon! I agree with Kim that you might need to be seen by a doc. Hopefully your doc can help you kick this well before Christmas!!!!

There's a lot of bad germs going around this time of year. I started working part-time but now it looks like I've caught something... not the flu (no fever, and I had the shot)... but I'm also coughing a lot and have a sore throat. No fun. I see my gynecologist tomorrow... maybe she can also prescribe something (if needed) for this cold.

Hi, I'm so glad for this site. I caught the flu which turned into bronchitis, which turned into severe infection. And wow, I have not ever coughed so much in my life!!!! Even when I had bronchial pneumonia, 9 years ago. I'm so glad that Kim M from here, told me to go back to the doc. Even though I'm over a year postop, it hurts to cough, believe me!!!! Take care and try not to catch the flu. Everyone was getting sick around me and I thought I wasn't going to get it because I managed not to get it for a couple of months. Hang in there everyone!!!!!
