New surgery

Well, I am off again on Dec 23rd to have my incision fixed (hopefully!). The DR is going to re-open the incision that is currently open and leaking to remove the rest of the stitches that still have not dissolved from my July 23rd exploritory surgery. He is going to leave it open and let it heal naturally. That of course scares me more than anything else. He wanted to, today poke around a bit but I am just to sore to be doing that without any sleeping juice. He isn't going to let me have a general, he says that conscious sedations with a local will be plenty for this and he is trying to convince me that I won't feel a thing! I don't know I guess we will see.

I am of course scared to death about having surgery again and being down and out the rest of the year. The open wound thing should take 3-4 weeks to heal (inside) and then up to 3 months for the outside I guess to finally heal, but I should be back to work in 3-4 weeks and able to slowly (and finally after 12 months) get back into the gym and work off some of this weight that I have gained. I know....whine whine whine!!!

I am so glad you are all here to listen and I wish you all well!
