Aunt flo's revenge
With only one visit from Aunt Flo left, she arrives a week early, so room for yet another visit, and made her worst entrance ever. I've never bled so badly or felt so bad, its not even my reason for the hysterectomy! Plus lots of inch size clots - what does this mean now? I feel that my 'healthy' uterus is making sure I remember her.

Aunt flo's revenge
Hi. I had a TAH on 11/14 due to rapidly growing fibroids, one of which was on the outside of my uterus and very big, the other two inside my uterus which had grown to the size of an 18 week pregnancy. My dr asked about my periods and I told him I had mostly clots the first 2 days. I believe it was due to the fibroids. I don't know if that is the same for you, but that is what I experienced.
Take care.

Could it be the stress?
Hy Dragonflyblue,
I do know that stress can really mess with your cycle changing both the timing and the flow. Perhaps it is just the stress of the surgery combined with that time of year.
Hmm, I don't know anything about your conditions - maybe I should look them up since I see a lot of women with the same things here - could it be that the blood is having a harder time getting out? I have read that there are anti-clotting factors in your uterus during your period that allow the blood to come out. If it takes to long because of your position or if it comes out too fast and gets bottlenecked in the vagina, it will clot before it gets out.
Or maybe she just knows and wants to leave a few final memories.
