Antidepressants Question

Nancy:

I don't find that the Welbutrin suppresses my appetite. In fact, due to some major stomach problems, eating has been a problem for me for a while, and the Welbutrin, if anything, helps make food look more appealing to me.

I hope, with your counts so low, that your doctor has discussed food safety with you: no raw veggies or fruit, having someone else cut up raw chicken or fish or meat, etc. Bacteria that wouldn't be a problem in the normal course of things can be pretty dangerous when your white counts are running low!

Sorry to hear about missing your holiday with the grandkids -- tell your kids to take lots of pictures! Hope you have a good holiday, and that you're able to at least do justice to a festive holiday meal.

Antidepressants Question

The Wellbutrin hasn't made me lose weight either...much to my disappointment ...I haven't gained or lost anything measurable.

The Wellbutrin just levelled out my emotions to make me feel more human. I was feeling so detached from everything going on around me, and sad and weepy all the time. Not having had depression before, it scared me. The Wellbutrin has been a God-send in my case. But as we know from reading threads here, there are no 2 people alike. Everyone reacts differently to different things.

Good Luck! and Happy Holidays!
