Hi there!

We found your post in the read-only Endo Stories forum and moved it here so you can get replies.

It's very hard to tell what this might be; I think I would definitely give the doc a call and more than likely get her/him to check things out for ya. Please stay in touch and let us know how this progresses.

Hi there So sorry you've been dealing with these issues since your hyst

There could be a number of reasons for on-going bleeding or spotting this long after your surgery. Some of them would include a spot of granulation (unhealed scar tissue) that could be leading to these episodes of bleeding. I had that after my TVH and my ob/gyn took care of if through cauterizing the tissues. Others have seen their granulation taken care of through other methods. I'm sure they'll be around soon to share some insight.

Another possibility could be vaginal dryness. Even if you kept your ovaries or are seeing your hormones balanced through HRT or NHRT, your system could still require a bit of help and the dryness could lead to occasional spotting.

Whatever the cause, your doctor should be informed in order to have the issue attended.

Sending lots of healing s your way and wishing you the best for 2004. Please keep us posted.
