Appointments for the week of January 5

Hello to all! Happy New Year! Well, here's our list of appointments for this first full week of 2004. As always, if I missed your appointment, please feel free to add it on to this thread so that we can wish you well!

KASEYbiker is having her first chemo.

Good luck, Kathy! I hope you get maximum benefit with minimum side effects.

Wild Rose is having a CBC to see if her blood counts are appropriate for chemo!

(((Wild Rose))) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good blood counts!

Wild Rose is having chemo # 7 (if CBC is OK).

I hope your chemo happens without a hitch!

Margaret321 (Ellen) will be getting her CA125 results and having her chemo.

(((Ellen))) Good luck! I hope your chemo is easy on you, but hard on those cancer cells. I can't wait to hear a LOW CA125 number!

's to all of you! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and 'ers this week. Please come back and let us know how things go!

Kathy, I hope that first chemo goes well for you. The first one is scary in that you go into the unknown and you know it has side effects--but remember that those cancer cells, now sitting around in their recliners watching Judge Judy are about to get hit hard and they'll think Judge Judy's a timid little old lady in comparison. Good luck. Wild Rose--here's hoping those CBC counts are on the line so you can get #7. I talk to my platelets all the time to "get up there, you can do it, platelets are tough" so you talk to your counts too.

Good luck to all of you ladies. I will be thinking about you all. Whenever I start to feel sorry for myself when I have to be poked at again, I thank my lucky stars that I live in a country where treatment is available to me. I hope the chemo does what it is meant to do with minimal side effects.

Thanks for all your good wishes. I have been feeling really good lately, so have to remind myself why I am continuing chemo - the CA 125 # needs to get under that 35 mark, and too many lapses between previous chemos.

And, Helen 513, you are now on the road to recovery, starting your radiation today, and the chemo on Thursday. I send you ers and good wishes.

And to you, too, Kathy, as you begin your chemo. Remember that the oncology nurses are there to help you in any way possible. They really are special.

And, Margaret 321 - may that CA 125 # get down to the single digits. Great analogies with Judge Judy! This time, if I am not too, too 'mellow', during chemo, I plan to use a suggestion that someone posted, and 'smile' at my body's mid-section!!!!

s to all
