Anyone in Indiana?

Hi all!!!!

I am wanting to know if anyone out there has seen a wonderful pain doctor in Indiana or close to. My gyn feels I have developed a chronic pelvic pain which I also have awful back pain with it. He basically said the only dr to specialize moderatley in this area is my last surgeon in Indi which I go to tomorrow. The thing is my dr here gave my bextra and flexeril and said it may help a little but I cannot be on pain meds for long term use. He feels over a week is too long and you become addicted. I disagree. The flexeril made me stay in bed all day and the bextra does not work. I know the dr in Indi will basically agree with my dr here since they work together.

My question also is, is this something I am going to have to live with? This is what my dr here has made me feel. I have to learn to deal with the pain with basically no med help. Why? Medicine has come so far and he is trying to tell me there are hardly any doctors around who specialize in chronic pelvic pain.

Help Help Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any types of meds that have worked for any of you who deal with this?

Thanks.
