Well it has been 10 days since I had surgery to remove both tubes and ovaries. The DR also found that I was covered in adhesions and still had endo left. He removed all and said things should be fine now. Well I went for my DR appt to day for a follow up and he gave me the before and after pics. Granted I really was a mess. It looked as if I had spider webs inside me(lol).
What discourges me is that now after two surgeries only 5 mounths apart (tvh on 8/5/03 and this last surg. on 1/5/04) I was told that I have a rectocele and would prob. need to have it surgically repaired. I go back to the DR in five weeks. I just feel as if he should have found this when he did the vag. hyst.
He also informed me that although he removed the adhesions that there was a high likely hood of them returning and prob. to a higher level.
I just want this all to be over and done with. I am so tired that I don't feel like doing anything most days and my husband and kids are really getting the bad end of the deal. At least DR gets to be rid of me after each office visit, my poor family has to put up with me and all the crap that comes with me every day.
If any one has any helpful advise it would be greatly appreciated.

Dear jkm,
I can't say that I have any helpful advice but I certainly feel for you. It just doesn't seem fair, does it. I would try to focus on just healing and keep my fingers crossed (and pray?) that the additional surgery won't be needed. 5 weeks is a pretty long time! Take it one surgery at a time - you've got enough on your plate for now!

Best wishes and good luck!

I had just written anew post. I may be up for new surgery soon. You can read my post "I am having 2nd surg in 5 months?

All's I can say is stay positive. That is how I am getting through this. I would be nice to take a picture and see it all non-invasive.
But umfortunately we have to have the DRs go in.

Hang in there and ask alot of questions and voice your concerns.

Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.
