New Surgery New year New lease!!!

Well I am now 1 week post from my (hopefully) last surgery! They opened the incision once again and since my body does NOT dissolve sutures they left a 3x3x1 hole in my belly for me to clean and pack. Not too bad I guess, but it would have been nice to have this fixed in July the last time they did this!!!! I have learned however that all things happen for a reason and if it means no more infections than I will take it!!!

I am grateful everyday that I had my hyst last year, I would take the complications since then for the problems before anytime!

I wish everyone a great 2004 and a very happy recovery!!!!

HUGS to all

Lee,
I'm glad you're home. I had an open incision after a laprotomy (sp?) many years ago. While it was kind of unsightly for a bit it did eventually heal and close up. Be sure and follow your doc's instructions. Cleaning and packing is very important.

I hope you are on your way to feeling better.
