Linda,
How wonderful!!! Isn't that the best feeling in the world to be healthy AND losing weight?!!! You go girl.
I see that you had fallopian tube cancer. When I was getting chemo another woman was there who had fallopian tube cancer. Her doctor was also treating another woman with it. She reported the same stats that you did, only 2,000 none cases in the world. Since my small medical practice had 2 patients with it, I am wondering how accurate those stats are. I'm thinking that this cancer is more common than it has been thought to be.
Just an observation, I could be totally wrong.
Anyway, enjoy your freedom from disease and that nice, long, slow, dance with NED!!

Thanks to all for the wishes and prayers!
I, again, realized how lucky I am. Yesterday I attended the funeral of my neighbor, Tammy (age 41) , who died from metastatic breast/liver/brain/bone cancer. Tammy's husband died 1-1/2 years ago from leukemia. They have a 12 year old son. Fortunately, he has a wonderful aunt, uncle, and teenage cousin who he is going to live with.
Tammy and I looked out for each other since my diagnosis last year. I looked out the window each day to see if things looked normal at her house. She would send her son over with books and pamplets about treatments. I will definitely miss her.
I went home and hugged my kids!
 S and ers,

Hi Linda,
I am very happy for your NED since 10/03.
It is so fortunate that you and Tammy were there for each other and I am so happy that her child has a home to go to....hopefully you will still be able to stay in touch with him...God bless.....
