NED is still my partner also!!!!

I just got back from my four month checkup with the medical oncologist.
And I too am still dancing with NED, 27 months after completing chemo!!!!! CA 125 is 9!! Now I am good to go until the end of
May.
I will be in San Diego for the SGO conference from Feb 3rd through the 10th. Anybody else?
I also asked about the proteomic blood test for women like me.
He said it would be confusing to begin to use that test on me now, since they would not have my trends from the onset of my disease. He continued with a very scientific explanation, but to tell the truth, I was so busy rejoicing over my ca 125 of 9, that I did not follow all his logic.
I know I will hear much more about proteomics in San Diego.

Yay, Karenann! How wonderful! Have a !

You are such a source of inspiration and comfort for all of us here on the board. I always think of you eating that big fat cookie at the OCNA conference, and I just go, "You know, Karenann's clear, and she's eating big fat cookies!"

But that aside, your kind heart and thoughtfulness mean the world to everyone on this board. So STAY HEALTHY, because God has plans for you. :-)

P.S. I just got my CA125 tested Sunday, and it's still "less than 6.3." So I'm very happy about that! Technically, I think I'm in a "chemical remission." But I'll take it! :-)

Of course, I celebrated by eating chocolate.
