Mugging of a Sister

I was unable to make it to Dallas to see Kristine - flights from Houston to Dallas were unbelievable.

However I am happy to report she is recovering. I spoke with her and her mother.

She was able to give them a description and they caught the guy
in the act of hurting someonle else. He has hurt 5 girls since December.

Kristine had a lot of stitches but really sounds great - we are going to try to get together soon.

I told her to look at all your posts - thanks for thinking of her.

Mugging of a Sister

Kattie, I just had been thinking about Kristine so thank you for the update. It is good to learn she sounds good and that they caught the troubled person who hurt her and others. I she will heal quickly and can put this behind her; she is a very brave person. Please keep us informed re her recovery until she can come back and "talk" with us herself.
Manys and blessing to both you and Kristine. peggiesue

Mugging of a Sister

Dear Kristine,

I've been mugged twice -- once at knifepoint when I was 19 years old, and once at gunpoint in January of last year -- but I was not hurt (other than psychologically) during either attack. They only took my purse, which can be replaced.

I am just horrified that anyone would so randomly and cruelly cause you physical pain. I wish you a very speedy recovery, and if you do have to have some physical therapy, I hope that you are able to make it through quickly and get back to your normal life. I knew someone else who lost her ability to walk and speak due to a car accident (I was in the accident, too, but I flew through the windshield -- I was 12, she was 11), and she regained all functioning and became totally normal again.

May God watch after you and send His great blessings and healing power to you during this time of recovery. We are all thinking of you, and we send you many s!

Glad they caught the guy!

Now let a group of Hyster Sistrs have at him. At least he cannot harm anyone else and may Kristine totally recover physically and later on emotionally, with help.

Prayers for Kristine

My heart goes out to you Kristine and my prayers for a full and quick recovery. The medical people have so many wonderful things they can do these days. It is sad to think you went through so much just this last summer - well it is summer here in Australia right now - and we don't want you to waste all that treatment so get well really soon and get back to living a long, wonderful, healthy and happy life.

My thoughts are with you always.
