Having surgery

I will be having an exploratory laparotomy and BSO on Feb. 3. I saw my surgeon on Fri. and he told me my operative report for my TAH (done 8/02) stated that I had endo on both ovaries but the GYN who did the surgery did not remove it!! My surgery will involve removing the ovaries and tubes as well as cleaning up adhesions and endo that may be causing the major GI problems I've been having. He will also look at my liver and pancreas. BIG SURGERY. I'm very nervous, but also hopeful that this will put and end to 2 years of pain and illness. Thank you to all who have responded to my previous post's and please keep tha messages coming. I guess I need to look into hormore options. I've never take any hormones ever. Not even BCP's. Any advice?? Joan

Having surgery

Dear Joan,

Your surgery is the day before mine... best of luck for a great outcome!!! and no complications.

Check out the Hormone Jungle forum. If you have some hormone related questions try posting them there.

Your surgery will be here before you know it... and hopefully you will be feeling much better after you have healed.
