Surgery on Feb 4th

Hi All!

Well my surgery at the Mayo in Scottsdale is almost here (Feb 4th). It seems Like I have been waiting forever. I don't feel anxious right now but that may change when I see the doctors on Tuesday. I just want to get it over with and get on with other things (hopefully). I am not sure how I will feel after the surgery because I don't know if or what he might find.... he will be looking for endometriosis, adhesions and doing a PSN... I don't know if I will come back with any ovaries either (I only have one)... This will be my 8th laparascopy. I am hoping for no complications and at least a 50% pain reduction but I know it may take several months to realize.

WE leave Monday for Phoenix so I won't be on-line for several days.... but I will try to post when I get back home... sooner if I am able.

Big hugs

I wish you the best of luck on Wednesday. I hope they can resolve some of your pain issues that you have been dealing with for so long.
You are in my prayers, and I will be thinking about you until you can be back with us.
You are an inspiration to me - your attitude is so positive, and I know that will help you with this 8th and hopefully last lap.
Great big 's for you.

May this improve your pain, and your quality of life! Is there someone that your DH could e-mail, just to let us know that it's all OK?

Many thanks for all the lovely well wishes. It will feel better knowing that some wonderful people are thinking about me... especially if I am really hurting afterwards.

I will try to post as soon as I can... or have DH send an email to someone. He will have his laptop along.
