Gyn appt. on the 10th -- my mind is going 100 mph

After months and months of health (and financial) issues I am finally going back to the Gyn who did my TAH/LSO one week from today. I sooooo much want an answer and a "fix it" for this pain. My mind is going 100 mph! I even had a dream about it last night. The outcome in the dream was not a good one and I know that is because I am so frustrated with it all.

I'm trying to think of every possible question to ask, symptom to give, etc. I have used Michelle35's advice and printed out calendars for the last 5 months and color coded them so she will know exactly what kind of pain and when. My feeling is that a good percentage of this pain is adhesions, but since some of it is so obviously cyclic I am concerned about endo return too. Then again....I seem to have ALWAYS had cyclic problems and have to wonder about hormonal issues. Unlike some of you, if she does a lap I WANT my right ovary removed. I don't want to be back there in another year with more problems.

The pain on my left side is almost constant now-- sometimes just a tugging sensation but mostly a sharp, shooting, 9 on the pain scale, deep, deep pain. If any of you can help me out with questions and such to take to the dr. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hey Sweetie:

I think your gyn is lucky to have a patient like you!!!! I'm sure she'll agree to take your ovary out. That is a perfectly reasonable, rational request, given your symptoms.

If you want to chat, PM me. I'm still around.
