Its been a while for me

Hello ladies I haven't been on this site for awhile. Although periodically I do checkin to read some of the post just see how some of you all are doing.

I do have a qestion for you ladies. I am going into my 3rd year of my surgury and I am still having some discomfort with my bowels and my cut on my belly. My ongoing symptoms I have is tenderness to touch and still have the a swollen belly on my leftside. On this side my incision is very tender to touch and also have some nerve damage their. Would like to know have any of you ladies experience this discomfort?

I am also have pain (burning sensation) on that side. Could adhesion cause my scar to be that senstive and painful at times?

Thanks ladies in advance.

Its been a while for me

Hi (( Jazitones ))!!
I'm sorry your still having problems I suffered some Nerve damage to my Vaginal cuff area as a result of my Hyst...mine causes me a burning, searing type of pain & is also extremely sensitive Your own Nerve damage may be a cause of some of yours also
Have you mentioned these symptoms to your Dr?? I know many of us still experience some nagging pains & problems & our Drs still don't know what is causing them <sigh> I have a great amount of Adhesions in my abdominal & pelvic region, mine cause me an often severe amount of pain. Mine is mostly pulling, tugging & often stabbing...I also have what feels like menstrual cramps 24/7
Mine haven't caused me any discomfort with my scar tho...I am 4 yrs Post-TAH and my incision area is fine. I recall several ((Sisters)) here who have suffered various problems with theirs tho. Hopefully, one will come along & share some further insight into what was going on that caused them such pain.

Good Luck ((Jazitones))! I do hope you are able to find some answers & relief to your pain soon. Pls keep us posted & let us know how things are going.............((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
