Thanks For Your Kind Words

Hello Everybody!

I wanted to thank you all and Katherine (Katiebells) for your wonderful thoughts and kind words regarding my recent attack by a captured rapist in Dallas, Texas.

Luckily, recent testing has proved that he did not rape me (I was unconscious the entire time), however I'm still suffering from a mild traumatic brain injury but my doctors agree my brain will continue to heal and that I should be close to normal once again in the upcoming months.

I was touched to see so many responses to Katherine's posting regarding my situation. I'm very fortunate to have found this website in order to deal with cancer and to hear words of encouragement regarding other unfortunate situations.

Thanks again for your support. This site is a wonderful personal resource and I'm very lucky to have found such a great outlet full of caring women.

Thanks For Your Kind Words

Dear Kristine,

What a horrible ordeal! I hope you are doing better now. I was robbed at gunpoint shortly before being diagnosed with cancer last year. Yes, they held a gun to my head. But I was not hurt, they didn't force me into my nearby apartment and they didn't infringe upon my person. For that, I am grateful.

I am glad you are doing better and hope that you are getting any emotional support that you might need to fully leave this horrible situation behind you.

I know your brain will heal and that you will be fine! Be sure to try to exercise -- even if just by walking. I know that will help your brain to get back to its old self. :-)

Thanks For Your Kind Words

Dear Kristine,
I am so glad that you are doing good and that they caught the guy that did that to you. I hope you are on the mend, both physically and mentally. I know that must be hard to put behind you, but it sounds like you are on your way... I'm glad that Katherine was able to tell us about your attack so that we could pray for your recovery. Take care and glad you posted an update.
