going back to the castle tomorrow

I'm in such pain. I saw my gyn, and she told me she'd admit me tomorrow (Friday) for pain control. She also called the pain clinic, and they're probably going to do the nerve block tomorrow, instead of waiting til next Thursday.

I'm nervous, but I'm hoping and praying for an end to this horrible nightmare I'm in the middle of.

They told me to be at the castle at 8am, for a conference. I'm not sure what that means, or what we're confering about.

Please, think of me. I'm scared, and nervous, and I'm in so much pain, that I can't take any more. But as DH said, just think, in 14 hrs, you'll be happy as a lark, doped up on Dilaudid!

Dear Laura,

I hope the hospital stay and the nerve blocks help you. Does the doctor have any idea what is happening? Is it getting worse not better?

I was just wondering since I had terrible pain on my right side after I had surgery two weeks ago (In the spot I have had pain for a long time and where the surgeon removed the imbedded cystic endo...so he did some excision)... anyway, I kept telling every doctor after the surgery how bad my right side was and everyone told me it was likely just from all the work the surgeon did... and then about 5 days later it started to get even worse... so finally my local Gyn ordered an ultrasound and found 300cc of blood sitting right in the area where I was complaining of the severe pain.... It seemed like everyone was very willing to chalk it up to surgery and assume nothing was "wrong"... I am glad someone finally thought to "look" and see if something abnormal was happening.

I do hope you start feeling some relief soon. It sounds like your doctor is being very responsive...so I guess that is a good thing.
