Shaving?

I would shave only what you normally shave if at all...DO NOT SHAVE MORE!! Let the nurses or whoever does it do it. Good Luck

Shaving?

Mine was done in the operating room after I was asleep. Unless you were told to do it, don't. They will take care of it.

Shaving?

Ya know, I can't even tell if they even shaved me! I have a hairy belly (thin line from pubis to navel) that wasn't touched (it was shaved when I had C-sections years ago). I know the steri-strips are stuck on hairs (OUCH!). I'd leave well enough alone and let them do whatever they want.

Shaving?

Hi JoJo~

Don't worry about the shaving. They will take care of that for you. They did mine after I was put under the anesthesia. Best wishes for your upcoming surgery!

Shaving?

A note of warning: surgeries have been canceled due to people shaving themselves. They worry about nicks and infection. And also, if you went ahead and shaved and they weren't going to you might feel a little silly.

Best wishes.

Shaving?

The first rule about anything regarding your health, surgery prep, recovery, etc. is: When in doubt call your DR and follow your DR's instructions for you, not someone else's.

Shaving?

Hi.

I also have shaved for years. I shaved the morning of my surgery. TAH,BSO. When the nurses went to prep me they coldn't believe how clean shaven I was. If youre used to doing it you shouldn't have a problem. But you still might want to ask you DR just to be on the safe side. Good luck to you with your surgery.

Take care,
Crystal

Shaving?

I was told at my pre op appointment that I should shave approx 2 inches off hairline the night before surgery.
