Back into Surgery on Weds 2/25

Hi Ladies -

The staph infection in my abdominal cuff is not improving and I still have bleeding - so they are going to remove the mesh that seems to be the problem, and the 'nodule' that showed up on the CT scan and clean things up. The nodule is 2.0 x 1.7cm and my Dr is sure it isn't recurrent tumor - she said it couldn't have grown that fast - phew! She thinks it's scar tissue that has broken away from the incision. Sadly, my urologist can't fix my failed bladder suspension because he said it's too dangerous to risk staph being moved around.
My GYN is going to try and do the surgery via laparoscope - but may end up going back through the hyst. incision. I so hope I don't have to have the abdominal incision so soon.

May they get rid of this infection once and forever. I wish they could fix the bladder. And I hope it's a laparoscopy.

Jan,

I'm sorry that you are having all these complications. Know that you're being kept in prayer.

I hope that this procedure takes care of the problem completely and permanently.

Blessings.
