another Dr visit
I had to wait for two hours in the waiting room because the dr was so behind. There are so many people suffering from the flu. He only spent 5 minutes with me, didn't think a chest xray was needed, and didn't look in my throat. He listened to my breathing, looked at my swollen eyes and said I am having broncho spasms. He gave me an inhaler, eye drops and had the nurse give me ashot of something called depro mev ( something like that) that should clear my lungs. I hope he is right

the medication is probaby depomedral, a steroid used to fight inflamation. So the situation is probably as ((Audrey)) mentioned in the last post - a post infection asthma like conditions.
I hope you can rest now and that you feel better soon

Give the meds time, your chest should be back to normal soon. I find it is so hard to remember that people with cancer can also get "normal" people conditions.
Hope you feel better soon.

I hope that the medications make you feel better physically...and that you also have new peace of mind. Kick that cancerhead out the door!
Blessings.

Ahem! (clearing throat)
I told you so. I love saying that. I told you so. You are a perfectly normal person getting perfectly normal stuff everyone else gets. Now get some rest and let those meds get to work. As for that virus or bacteria you have--it's history!

 s Debbie
Bad colds can often hang on and turn into asthma like conditions.
And steroids are truly the wonder drugs. Especially when it comes to reducing inflamation. Hopefully you will be feeling much better soon.
Hang in there Deb.

 s Debbie,
Glad you went to the doctor and got those meds, your symptoms sounded similar to my son's (he is a severe asthmatic) I have even learn how to detect an asthma cough from a regular cough, make sure you drink plenty of fluids after doing your inhaler, especially water. Well, you rest, I will keep you in my prayers.
God bless
