ouch.
I really had not expected it to be that big of a deal. Thank goodness for pain meds!
Getting ready to remove the postop dressings here in a few minutes, guess I need a drumroll for the unveiling???

thanks so much for the prayers yesterday,
nancy j.

Nancy,

No drum roll, but how about some ???

You're on your way, and even though it's not something you are looking forward to, every step is a step towards, hopefully, greater health and freedom from cancer.

We're all pulling for you! Will you be able to post while you're at the hospital? Laptop, whatever?

With prayers and wishes for any remaining cancer to get one heck of a ---

Blessings.

It looks ridiculous. Try to imagine, if you will, Twiggy. that's me. Then imagine how Twiggy would look with three boobs.....only the port is almost larger than the regular two.

oh well, guess we ain't in this for beauty points, eh?<g>

Nancy:

You're right...we're not in this for the beauty points!! I love it!

Our families probably love us even more for fighting this dreadful disease. Let me tell you...it feels great when you can finally say "I beat this disease!"

I know that I may have to deal with it all again, but every bit of fight that I put in against this disease was well worth it. I have received many unexpected (spiritual) gifts from walking this road.

Stand tall and fight it...you can do it!!

Marl and Linda,
thanks
I'm trying to bond with my new body part this evening. It's not easy, but I have to keep reminding myself that this is necessary. It's not like it was elective cosmetic surgery.

thanks for letting me whine
