I think the clock has stopped

Ever since I got my surgery date...and then it was promptly moved back another week, I feel like the clock has absolutely stopped dead. Now that I know I have to do this, have made my mind up after all these years, I WANT TO GET IT OVER!! I swear my belly is swelling more every day and it just makes me sick to think of these aliens (three large and multiple smaller) taking over my uterus that was the first home to my two beautiful children. I am thankful for my test results coming back as good as they were and keep staying thankful for that. But, March sixteenth is way too far away, and I can't keep busy enough to move the clock. Of course, we feel so crappy by this point that the energy isn't there to stay as busy as we'd like anyway. I just wish I could wiggle my nose and have it be that morning. Or I wish I was six and waiting for Christmas and feeling like it isn't getting any closer. Yeah...I like that one much better.

I think the clock has stopped

I know exactly what you mean! I had to make my date 6 weeks in advance because of some scheduling with 2 surgeons and my hubby's business. It's been the longest 5 weeks of my life! I have one week to go - thank goodness it's an extremely busy week! My hubby and I planned a weekend getaway (without kids) about midway through. Then we booked a Bed and Breakfast for the weekend literally the weekend before my surgery - so we leave on Friday and come home on Sunday. This way, it broke up the weeks into something manageable and then I have this coming weekend to look forward to and won't be home going nuts! These have been wonderful distractions that have helped pass the time.

I think the clock has stopped

I hear you, my surgery is this coming Tuesday and I have been waiting for more than a month. However it has come to fast and now I am having anxiety. The time did past fast, faster than I thought, but here I am a day away. Waiting and anticipating has been hard. I have these feelings of having to get everything done and now no time to do it. Spend the next few weeks getting yourself, your family and house ready, it will come fast enough.
