11days post-op dr's visit

I went and saw my dr. for the first time since my surg. today and she told me she was quite impressed and how well I am healing. She asked me how I was doing and I told her that emotionally I am doing better than I can ever recall feeling in my entire life. Before the surgery there was always a manic drive in nuetral even when my moods were stabalized, however, since the surgery, I have been "cool as a cucumber". In fact I am even going to discuss with one of my other dr's about lessening the dosage or even discontinueing some of the psychotropic meds I am currently taking. My gyno laughed when I told her that my inner child hasn't taken up the habit of playing with matches or lighters as of yet.

I was told I can begin sweeping and mopping. I can also attempt vacuuming! I was told that once my iron level increases and I am no longer suffering from these almost constant boughts of lightheadeness then I can resume driving. I can also go for my job interview the end of next week or the beginning of the following week, however, she will not release me to work until she sees me again in 4 weeks.

I did tell my dr. that I did not appreciate her sick sense of humor what with her putting this blowfish inside of my abdomen what with it puffed up like it is, etc.!!! She tried to weasle out of it by blaming the bloating on gas instead of facing reality and just adminting it and saying "Yes, I did it, I put a blowfish inside of you just to make you really miserable!!!!!!
