Vacuuming

Has anyone had a restriction from vacuuming? My BF's mother told me that I shouldn't. My doc didn't say anything about that. I was just wondering how that could possibly hinder recovery?

Vacuuming

No vacumming!!!! The pushing and pulling on the vaccum use the ab muscles and it's a strain. Another chore to find someone else to perform at least for awhile.

Vacuuming

my dr said not to do anything in that area. I am almost 5 wks post from a tah and last week I figured I would sweep out the dogs room. Big mistake, I was hurting almost as badly as after surgery. Don't do it until you dr says its ok. Take care.
