Update on Me!!

Three weeks post-op from second surgery (hemtoma removal abdominally). Still not feeling right - serious pain on all of left side. Called Doc's office - getting tired of dealing with them!! they are going to fit me in tomorrow. I called them on Wednesday. My Doc is out of the country - must be nice- and I didn't want to see the other guy - I think he was some of my problem in the first place!! Anyway - it really is painful to even sit and also to lie down - especially on that side. I just don't know what is going on there. Is it just normal to be feeling this much pain?? I sometimes wonder if something else has gone wrong down there. I just can't stand anything else. I still cannot feel when my bladder has something in it - only that the pain gets much worse on the left side (where the hematoma was).

Anyone with any input would be appreciated. Everyone take care. Robin

Update on Me!!

Hi (((Robin))) I'm sorry to hear that you're still having so much pain. No, I don't think it's normal to have that much pain three weeks after the hematoma is removed. I'm very glad you are getting in to see the DR tomorrow, good for you for being persistent

Please let us know how it goes tomorrow... I hope they find out what's causing this pain so they can take care of it.

Update on Me!!

I know what you mean by not wanting to see the other doc. One of my current doc's [recently former] partners is a doc I can not stand. I don't normally hold grudges, but he is the exception. Anyway, the yuck doc lost his license to practice and now I NEVER have to worry about him walking in for my appt instead of my regular doc.

I hope you will find relief soon from the pain!! I am so glad you are being seen and I hope whichever doc you see treats you with the upmost respect and care.
